"Wet Paint" is an art show opening in New York at Pleiades Gallery 530 West 25th Street New York, NY this coming Saturday, April 19th. The exhibition includes paintings by artist, musician and educator David Tobey, who has invented ways of painting with with pigments, solvents and chemicals that for years have been considered to be incompatible with each other when applied wet to a canvas. Some of his unique paintings by this artist are on his web site at davidtobey.com and read the complete media release for his show at www.prweb.com/releases/2014/03/prweb11680956.htm, where there are also some photos of his work. Everyone (particularly artists, art students and teachers, and gallerists) are invited to attend the reception Saturday afternoon, April 19th from 3 to 6. There will be live music by the artist himself on violin with keyboard accompaniment (David is a regularly performing member of the Westchester Philharmonic); and there will be complimentary refreshments for all!
